Abstract

The search for procedures that lead to an ideal smile have been increasingly targeted by patients. The gingival recession generates enough discomfort to the patient especially when related to aesthetics. The biggest recessions seem to be more common in single-rooted teeth and their statements are related to both aesthetic and functional needs. Therefore, the aim of this article is to describe throught clinical case surgery for root coverage grafting technique subepithelial connective tissue associated with a coronally repositioned flap upper canine (tooth 23). The described technique showed a predictable and satisfactory which was observed after 24 months clinical success of the procedure from the point of view of the lining of aesthetic satisfaction as reported by the patient. We conclude that technique used in this study is an excellent option for root coverage provide it meets the criteria required for that patient.
